Restoring Forests, One Tree at a Time
In 2025, with your help, we planted 17,589 Sugar pine, Ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine and Giant Sequoia trees in Sequoia National Forest. Each of these trees was planted as a celebration or memorial tree.
These trees will restore roughly 77 acres of fire devastated public land.
Eventually these trees will provide enough oxygen for 69,477 people each year.
These trees will provide homes for thousands of forest critters, including those at risk of extinction due to deforestation like the California spotted owl and the Sierra Nevada red fox.
We're proud of the work we've done, and we're grateful for your support. AND, there is more work to do! The U.S. Forest Service has identified over 4 million acres of land that needs to be restored immediately.
